Today, the team leaders laid down the iron fist and got team members to help out with the conpletion of the pre-competition report due April 15th. It was awesome. Several team members stepped up and helped complete the tasks that needed to get done. We're pretty excited about this report. We even have Erff working on it this time. With her infinite knowledge of cool and awesome report writing and engineering managment skills, there is no doubt that we are going to rock this report.

During class time, Erff took a few team members, new and experienced, to Lost Creek Elementary School, just down the street from Rose-Hulman. It was great to take some time to visit our neighbors and teach some students about hybrids and EcoCAR and how they can think aboout one day working on and developing hybrids themselves. Since we were talking with 4th and 5th graders, they grasped the idea of hybrids that we were trying to teach them. It was pretty neat at the end of the presentation when they were able to ask pretty informed questions about EcoCAR, hybrids, and the competition. Every student who asked a question got a mini EcoCAR info prize and each student got an EcoCAR pen. Now, if I was a 4th or 5th grader, that totally would have made my day!
