EcoCAR takes another adventure to the south of town... Today, Erff, Peter, Mike, Stefan, and Chad all ventured to the main campus of Ivy Tech Community College for their annual Matter and Motion event. 1500 Terre Haute locals came to the event that featured local organizations relating to the community, math, science, and engineering. Those who came to talk with our team got to learn about hybrids, EcoCAR and the role that Rose and its sponsors played in the competition. Parents who stopped by with their recieved brochures about the competition that they could read while their kids colored awesome custome Rose EcoCAR coloring sheets. The event was great to help expose kids to science and engineering as well as EcoCAR. Maybe we helped make some baby engineers! If we didn't, at least we taught a bunch of kids and their parents about hybrids and how they can benefit from one.
